Google had previously announced its plans to bring free internet service to the railway stations of India. As part of that project, the first free Wi-Fi hotspot has been setup at Mumbai's Mumbai Central railway station,

Google plans to bring this service to 100 stations across the country by the end of this year. The key here is that it is a high-speed Wi-Fi, allowing not just browsing but also streaming of content.
