Instagram 'Download Your Data' Tool Security Flaw Exposed Some Users' Passwords

Instagram has reported to a few of its users that their password information may have been compromised due to a bug in the new 'Download Your Data' tool. Instagram has confirmed that the URL shared while using the tool included the user's password information as well, something that should not be the case. If this tool was used on a shared computer, this password information in the URL could potentially lead to misuse. The company notes that it has already fixed the bug, but recommends users to change their passwords nevertheless.

In the period between April and September of this year, Facebook has terminated some 1.5 billion fake accounts from its network and deleted 2.1 billion pieces of spam. 

Google Photos for iOS now lets you edit depth and focus in portrait mode shots

Google has revealed that the latest version of its Photos app for iOS comes with adjustable depth and focus for portrait mode shots. This has previously been available on Android only. From now on if you have an iPhone and the newest iteration of Google Photos, pull up a portrait mode picture, tap the editing icon, and then tap it one more time to edit depth and focus through sliders.
