Google Photos for iOS now lets you edit depth and focus in portrait mode shots

Google has revealed that the latest version of its Photos app for iOS comes with adjustable depth and focus for portrait mode shots. This has previously been available on Android only. From now on if you have an iPhone and the newest iteration of Google Photos, pull up a portrait mode picture, tap the editing icon, and then tap it one more time to edit depth and focus through sliders.

Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T is now official

OnePlus 6T was unveiled last week only in two variants of Black, but today the device is introduced in a new shade at the China launch party. The new variant is called Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T, already known from official promo images we reported earlier today. The new phone is different from the original only by its appearance - otherwise hardware wise, it's the same device head to toe.

Spotify has now 87 million paying customers


Spotify has published its latest earnings report today, and it has plenty of good news for the streaming service. First off, it now boasts 191 million total active monthly users. What's more, of those 87 million subscribe to its paid tiers. This is up from 83 million subscribers in the previous quarter. 

Italy has fined both Apple And Samsung

The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) has fined both Apple and Samsung for releasing software updates that have significantly reduced the performance of their smartphones leading to accelerated consumer replacement. AGCM ascertained that Apple and Samsung were in violation of Articles 20, 21, 22 and 24 of the Consumer Code.
