Marshmallow update hitting Honor 7 units in EU


Huawei has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Honor 7 units in the EU. 

Oculus Rift shipments begin


Three months after Oculus Rift went up for pre-order, the Oculus Rift has started shipping, with deliveries beginning March 28. This was announced by Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe in a tweet. 

Production cost of AMOLED screens is now lower than LCD's


According to an analysis done by IHS Technology, AMOLED screen production cost is now lower than that of LCD screens. Production costs in the first quarter of the year for a 5" 1080p display amount to $14.30 for an AMOLED panel compared to $14.60 for an LCD one.

Android 6.0 based MIUI China stable ROM available for Mi 3/Mi 4

Xiaomi has released Android 6.0 Marshmallow MIUI ROM for the Mi 3 and Mi 4 smartphones. V7.2.8.0.MXDCNDB is currently only available for the Chinese region, which means you can install it on any Mi 3 and Mi 4 but being the Chinese ROM you won't get any of the Google apps pre-installed.
