Netflix App Gets Support for iPad Pro, 3D Touch, Arabic, More



Netflix has released an update to their iOS app bringing support for the iPad Pro, 3D Touch, and Arabic; as well as, post-play recommendations and an improved Kids experience.


iOS 9 adoption slows down


Apple has released its latest iOS adoption number . The latest figures say the version 9 of the company's mobile operating system now powers 77% of compatible devices, which is the same as what was reported earlier this month.

Foxconn acquires Sharp in deal worth $6.2 billion

Just over a month after there were reports that Foxconn is in talks to acquire Sharp, the deal has been sealed for a total of JPY 700 billion ($6.2 billion), according to Japanese financial newspaper Nikkei. 

Pebble Time gets price cut



The Pebble Time smartwatch has received a price cut in the US. Daily deal aggregator and online retailer Groupon has the timepiece listed on its website for $135, down from its MSRP of $200


Google brings voice-based text editing and formatting to Docs


Google  has now rolled out an update that brings along voice-based text editing and formatting to Docs. To use the new features, you need to first enable voice typing, something which you can do be heading to the Tools menu on your Chrome Web browser and then selecting the Voice typing option. Thereafter you can start editing and formatting with commands like "copy," "insert table," and "highlight."

Telegram surpasses 100 million users milestone, delivers 15 billion messages daily


Telegram has announced that it has surpassed the 100 million monthly active users milestone. The company also revealed that around 350,000 new users sign up for the service each day, and it delivers more than 15 billion messages daily.

DOJ Seeks Orders to Force Apple to Unlock 12 More iPhones as FBI Claims It's Not Trying to Set Precedent


The U.S. Justice Department is pursuing court orders to force Apple to assist investigators in extracting data from another 12 iPhones, reports the WSJ. The news comes as the FBI claims its demand that Apple hack the San Bernardino shooter's iPhone will not set a precedence.


PlayStation VR press event set for next month, invites sent out



Sony has sent out press invites for a PlayStation VR event which will be held next month - March 15 to be precise. The invitation says the event will begin with a presentation on the headset followed by hands-on demo of the device.
