Microsoft Surface Pro 3 gets 20% price cut in India


Surface Pro 3 has received a solid price cut in the country. The 2-in-1 detachable is now listed on Amazon India for INR 58,990 (around $880), down from its launch price of INR 73,990 (around $1,100).

Facebook Acquires Live Filters and Face Swap App MSQRD

Google code shows Android N tested on the Nexus 5


Google just released the Android N developer preview for the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, and Pixel C. Latest Rumor Suggest that Google is testing Android N for the Nexus 5. As evident from the Google Git repository for the Android N preview, the Nexus 5 (hammerhead) is tagged in its code dating from yesterday. 


Redmi 3 with fingerprint scanner spotted on TENAA

Xiaomi's Redmi 3 doesn't feature a fingerprint scanner, but it looks like we will soon see a variant that comes loaded with fingerprint sensor . A phone with specs identical to the Redmi 3 was spotted listed on TENAA's website

Four million Mi 5 units sold in the first flash sale


Xiaomi announced the Mi 5 flagship at the MWC a few days ago, and it  became one of the most anticipated smartphones this year. The first flash sale in China sold 4 million units in no time and registered more than 17 million interest entries. The second flash sale is scheduled for March 8 (10 AM Beijing time) and is expected to sell at least as many phones.

Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 3 in India


Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 3 for the Indian market. The phone is priced at INR 9,999 ($148) for the 16GB model, and INR 11,999 ($178) for the 32GB model. The Redmi Note 3 for India runs on the brand new Snapdragon 650 SoC and 2GB of RAM on the 16GB model and 3GB RAM on the 32GB model. I
